Say hi to Cheery Littlebottom
We have had Cheery for a year and are very pleased with her.
For those of you who love the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett you will recognise Cheery Littlebottom as a member of the forensics department in the Ankh-Morpork City Watch.
We called her that as she is only 5.6 meters long and is great for the small winding roads in Devon and just about getting into a normal parking place at the local supermarket.
She’s a 2 berth Autosleeper Nuevo on a Boxer base and we have had no complaints except when the leisure battery kept losing power.
It was ridiculous as we were staying with relatives and plugged into the mains. We checked the fuses, thought the battery may need replacing or something even bigger.
I took Cheery to the main dealer expecting to came back after a couple of hours to a large bill.
It had taken Bran, the service manager, precisely 5 minutes to locate the problem that I had turned off the charging unit by mistake. He was kind enough to not laugh like a drain and there was no charge. Phew!
